6月8日（木）から池尻大橋のOFS GALLERYにてASSEMBLEDISASSEMBLEの展示販売会を開催します。2022年レーベル立ち上げのラインナップとして開発されたアイウエア・ラグマット・時計・花瓶に新たに傘立てが加わりました。
大量生産、限られた予算や時間、そして技術、デザインの面白さはそういったことに向き合いながら答えを導きだす仕事ですが、わたしたちは時々、本来描いていた理想を限りなく追求してみたくなり、制約の壁を取り壊して”作品化”することがあります。
作品として保存するもの、ONE OFFとして販売するもの、受注生産でつくるもの、小ロットで生産できるもの、作品と製品の間にある在り方を探して、わたしたちは日々クリエイティブに向き合っています。
今回、展示するモノたちは、そんなわたしたちの「欲望のカタチ」です。作品なのか製品なのか、わたしたちからの問いかけでもあります。

Join Us at “Products of Desire” Exhibition and Sale (June 8 – June 25)
From June 8 (Thu), ASSEMBLEDISASSEMBLE presents an exhibition and sale at OFS GALLERY in Ikejiri-Ohashi, Tokyo. The collection features eyewear, rugs, watches and vases developed as the starting lineup for the grand debut of our brand in 2022. And now, we are happy to unveil the new umbrella stands as our latest addition.
The joy of design lies in finding answers to work with the constraints of mass production, such as limited budgets, time and technology. Sometimes, however, we want to pursue our original ideals to the limit, and break free from those constraints to create a work of art, rather than a product.We are always seeking the best way for each creation to be expressed in a spectrum with artworks and products at either end, whether they are to be preserved as artworks, sold as one-off pieces, made-to-order, or produced in small lots.
In that sense, each item in this exhibition represents the shape of our desire. They are also a question from us about whether they are artworks or products.
